Pick Up Procedure at DIA – When you have your bags, proceed outside on LEVEL 5, EAST Side, Door 515.

We need a way to contact you when you land at DIA. As you know, travel can be unpredictable. Weather in winter and summer in Colorado can change quickly. Flights often run early or late. Our online reservation system tracks all flights and your driver receives these real time updates. However we need to be able to talk with you after you land at DIA so we can let you know what shuttle service you will be on – as we don’t want you to have to wait any longer than necessary.

(Please note, due to security regulations set down by the Airport, our drivers are not permitted to leave their vehicles and meet customers inside the terminal) Our system also sends text alerts when the shuttle is on its way to pick you up. These alerts are particularly important in the mornings as they give you peace of mind and reassurance that the shuttle is enroute.

The first shuttle departs DIA at 4:10am and runs from DIA every hour. The last shuttle leaves DIA at 11:30pm.

If there are no confirmed reservations from the airport for a particular departure time, the shuttle may not wait until 10 after the hour to depart. To ensure your seat, please make a booking in advance.

The first shuttle service arrives at the airport at 4:00am, and continues every hour until the final arrival to DIA at 11:00pm.

Due to the nature of our door-to-door service, we may not be able to accommodate passengers making a booking with a pickup within three hours.

Yes, you must make a reservation to ride on the shuttle (for either direction). You can do this online or by calling our reservations number at (720) 223-5474.


From the Airport
We strongly encourage that you make a reservation before arriving at DIA. You can “hop-on” at the airport without a reservation if capacity and routing allows. You must make a reservation with our customer service team while you are on-board. All “hop-on” passengers will be taken to the hub in their destination city, no home, hotel, or other addresses will be allowed.

If you need a home, hotel, or other address drop-off, make your booking before you arrive at DIA.

Our only pick up point is on the EAST side of the terminal, at the curb outside of DOOR 515. This is the same level as baggage claim.

From the Airport
If you miss your shuttle from the airport due to flight delays, baggage delays, or any other reason, you will be automatically moved to the next available shuttle and our dispatch team will notify you of the change via text.


To the Airport
If you miss your shuttle to the airport, you will be moved to the next available shuttle, provided that you will arrive in time for your flight.

Please note that due to our schedule and logistics, our drivers are only able to wait up to three minutes past the pickup time you receive by text on your day of travel.

Due to the nature of our shuttle service, your pickup time can be quite dynamic.

At your time of booking you will receive an approximate pickup time, which is based on your geographic location in relation to the airport. The day before your trip, our dispatch team will manually adjust your pickup time to accommodate all booked passengers and optimize pickup times for all passengers to ensure punctual arrival at the airport.

You will receive a text message or email on the day of your shuttle which includes your most up-to-date pickup time. 

While we try not to adjust pickup times by more than 30 minutes on the day of your trip, we cannot always guarantee this will be the case. If your pickup time is adjusted by more than 30 minutes less than 24 hours before your trip, you will receive an update with your new time.

When you submit an online reservation for a shuttle reservation, your credit card is going to be charged immediately. The payment receipt is going to say “BOCO Airport Shuttle, LLC” – the owner of Eight Black Airport Shuttle.

We operate just like every major airline. You will have 24 hours from the time you make this booking to cancel and request a full refund.

After 24 hours, you may make date, time and name changes for free. If you wish to cancel after 24 hours, you will be issued a trip credit. These trip credits do not expire and can be transferred to anyone else.

If you do not wish to make an online booking and would rather make your booking over the phone, there is a $5 fee for all telephone reservations.

We began operating the Longmont Shuttle service in January 2017, and grew into the Boulder market in Summer 2020. In Spring of 2022, we acquired Green Ride Boulder and Longmont’s Shared Ride operations.

We are owned by a well established local transportation business, Eight Black.

Yes, we have 110v power outlets throughout our Sprinter shuttles and high speed charging cables for most phones (Apple and Android).

We highly recommend that you tip your drivers. While we are committed to providing a living wage for Eight Black Airport Shuttle employees, tips are a great way to show drivers your gratitude and appreciation of their service. Our drivers keep 100% of any gratuity that is offered and you can pay this in cash, include it while making your booking, or add a tip after your trip via customer survey.

Eight Black Airport Shuttle does not provide car seats or boosters. You may bring your own. Parents are responsible for installing the car seat correctly. All children who require car seats by state law, must use them. All passengers must wear a seat belt at all times.

Yes, Eight Black Airport Shuttle’s services include transportation to and from Denver International Airport for individuals with disabilities, including individuals who use wheelchairs.

ADA service can be scheduled directly through our booking portal. Simply select Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle at the time of booking.

Eight Black’s Get Home Guarantee

We wanted to let you know that any Eight Black shuttle customer that gets stranded at DEN Airport – due to flight delay, cancellation or weather, we will transport back to Boulder or Longmont on the same day of your shuttle ride to DIA free of charge. We want you to get home safely, warmly, and in one piece. Better to go home and regroup and start again when normal operations resume.
Seating will be on a first come, first served availability. Shuttles run every 60 mins, so our worst delay won’t be more than that!
If you are stranded at Denver International Airport and need a ride back home, please call Eight Black Customer Service at (720) 223-5474 and leave a message. We will confirm your seat on the next available shuttle and let you know the next available departure time from DIA. Then, head outside of Door 515 on the East side of the terminal, and look for the Eight Black Airport Shuttle vehicle.
